Velvet and Corduroy Quilt  Item # QT106

This skillfully made cherished piece is a wonderful example of of quality made Nebraska Quilts. This one has a lot of character-it has had many repairs through the years. No holes that go all the way through the quilt. There are some wear spots on the front and some wear holes on the back. The material used was a very heavy weight and good quality. There is velvet and corduroy used. They used earth tones black, brown, rust, beige and light orange. The condition is excellent  for it's age. There are a few stains that a professional cleaner may be able to get out. The stitches are skillfully hand done.  This piece measures 85'' x 68''. Being used, it does show some wear over time. The two pictures on the bottom show the backing and a repair on the corner.  What a lovely  display of quilting, it is just stunning. Would be a lovely enhancement for your room, or would make a one of a kind holiday gift.
